It Just Needs Some Football Fans To Move ThereSo not only did the league’s owners willingly allow politics into their precious game, they profited mightily from it. The NFL, like much of the media, hasn’t even bothered mentioning what the protests first started by former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick are all about. These are the same owners who have defended and attempted to obscure the terrible actions of their star players for years. The same owners who have forced players into the worst labor agreement of any professional American sport. That’s really the only "unity" the NFL and its owners really care about.
