The electorate of the constituency amounted to 346,892 people, while only 17.36 percent of them participated in the complementary elections.Regarding Arish constituency, Mohamed al-Gaghna and Amin Gouda who amassed 5,070 and 5,913 votes respectively will compete in the runoff, the commission announced. The electorate of the constituency amounted to 115,380 people. However, the turnout recorded only 16.05 percent.Ebrahim announced that the runoff will take place on January 11 and 12 for Egyptians abroad and on 16 and 17 of the same month for locals inside Egypt.The National Elections Commission received a letter from the House of Representatives on October 3, reporting the existence of three vacant seats after three MPs passed away.
