Despite of all of these numerous challenges being faced by the National Elections Commission (NEC); from voter-trucking to the lack of logistics, this Commission with the high level of experience professionals, it is optimistic that the pending 2017 general and presidential elections will be void of ‘misdeed’ but rather ensuring all Liberians of a free and fair elections process come October10, 2017. Let it be noted that this institution is doing extremely doing well; despite of the little resources it is trying to management from its international partners and the Liberian Government with the mandate to freely, fairly and transparently conduct the 2017 elections. After realizing some of the challenges being encountered during the VR exercises around the Country, it has been observed that the National Elections Commission (NEC) in a short period of time has put in place a vigorous step aimed at strengthening the work of those who have been engaged in the Voter Registration exercise, creating more confidence in the process. According to information gathered, the National Elections Commission (NEC) has been appraised internationally for its professional services in the conduct of elections over the years, and is also on record globally those professional services it has over the years rendered to the people of Liberia during successive elections. So if you are one of those detractors working hard to brining the NEC to public mockery, be aware that the Liberian people are independently watching with eagle eyes the performances of those at the NEC.
