The National Elections Commission (NEC) has certificated another political party as the 2017 general and presidential elections draw closer, making the number of registered political parties to twenty four. Dr. McIntosh, the political leader of the CDA is expected to contest the Liberian presidency after his party, Change Democratic Action (CDA), got its final clearance to be a full-fledged political party in Liberia. Upon arrival, Ambassador McIntosh stated the beginning of a better Liberia. For him, not many Liberians took him to be serious but stressed that the country must rise above its current stage. Meanwhile, he did not forget to laud the Slipway Community, where his party (CDA) is located for the warm accorded it as a family to the party.
