The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has admonished the 2000 candidates selected from Taraba state to participate in the 76,400 jobs creation Programme of the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency, assemble in their designated centers across the state for the commencement of screening. Relevant security measures, according to him, have been put in place to halt unselected candidates from disrupting the exercise. Some of the politicians and stakeholders, who have been allotted percentages, said the exercise has noting to do with politics, religion or ethnicity. Edegbai said the training is designed to consolidate NDE’s effort to sustain employment generation interventions and poverty reduction. She noted that skills acquisition is a major instrument for empowering citizens to access decent and productive employment.
