The former Banker told host of Morning Starr Francis Abban on Monday that the NDC needs a younger candidate with fresh ideas to move the nation forward. According to him, he has held some consultations with elders and regional executives of the party to inform them of his intention to lead the NDC in the 2020 general elections. The NDC activist who announced his intention in December last year said his plan is to empower the youth and provide jobs. “The NDC in recent times, haven’t empowered the grassroots, they haven’t empowered the business community among others.
