It has emerged per available documents that it was the Mahama administration that signed one of the precedent agreements with the United States regarding the provision to the United States access into the country to camp its military forces. Madam Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, irrespective of the evidence that she signed such a sensitive deal without telling the people of Ghana what was at stake in that deal as well as without Parliamentary approval, has challenged the NPP government to provide the agreement she signed. It has become clearer than daylight that former President Mahama and Madam Hannah Tetteh shrouded the entire 2015 deal in secrecy for reasons best known to them. The said agreement signed by Madam Hannah Tetteh also granted American soldiers access to Ghana’s facilities and granted tax exemptions on the importation of equipment and items including food, water and clothing, and military equipment as well as access to the country’s radio spectrum free of cost to the US military.
