[Courtesy]The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has condemned the social media circulation of gruesome photos portraying dead bodies of police officers following a terror attack in Wajir.NCIC directed blogger Robert Alai and any other person sharing the photos to pull them down. The statement signed by commission secretary Hassan Mohamed added that the photos glorify acts of terrorism and create fear among police officers. The commission said the photos, if shared, will hurt victims' families and interfere with the country’s unity. Wajir County Commissioner Loyford Kibaara, who was speaking at Wajir County Referral Hospital, said the incident happened in Wajir East Sub County.
