Joseph OlaoluwaFollowing the intervention of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, aggrieved workers of Arik on Wednesday returned to the negotiating table to press for better working conditions. The workers had on Monday under the auspices of the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria embarked on a strike action. However, following the intervention of NCAA, they called off the strike that grounded the flights of the airlines on Monday and embraced negotiation on Wednesday. Musa Nuhu, a representative of the Ministry of Aviation, Aviation unions at the National level and the Arik Air branch, Arik Air Management, Receiver Manager of Arik Air amongst others. The Chairman of the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, Arik Air, Innocent Atasie, confirmed to our correspondent that the negotiation had started.
