MANILA, Philippines — The NCAA Management Committee has cancelled the scheduled basketball games this Friday due to heavy rainfall in Metro Manila. Initially reported by Manila Bulletin's Waylon Galvez on Twitter, the collegiate league suspended three games that were supposed to be held at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan. The NCAA Management Committee - chaired by Peter Cayco of Arellano University - cancels the afternoon games including the match between unbeaten teams San Beda & St. Benilde after classes were suspended in Metro Manila due to expected heavy rainfall @mbsportsonline — Waylon Galvez (@batangBOYAA) August 2, 2019Included in the games cancelled is an anticipated match-up between unbeaten squads San Beda University and De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. NCAA action continues on Tuesday.
