The five-member committee is expected to ensure proper and effective financial management practices at the NCA. The Committee will be chaired by J. F. Odartey Blankson, comprises representatives from the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), National Media Commission (NMC) and the NCA board. He tasked them to ensure that management of NCA pursued the implementation of recommendations contained in both the internal and external auditors report as well as parliament's decision on Auditor-General's report. Section 86 of Act 921 requires that all government institutions establish audit committees.
