Two first half goals from Fatawu Safiu and Amos Frimpong, and a second half strike from Evans Owusu condemned Eleven Wonders to their third defeat in the competition. Fatawu Abdul Safiu broke the deadlock against his former club through a free kick in the 27th minute to give Kotoko the lead. Evans Owusu added the third for the Porcupine Warriors in the 65th minute, after firing a thunderbolt that went straight into the net . The home side huffed and puffed to reduce the tally but the Porcupine Warriors held on to the important victory.
