more-inThe Court of Second Metropolitan Magistrate in Anakapalle on Wednesday issued a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao for not appearing before the court. The Minister was charged with violation of the election code during the 2009 general elections. Mr. Srinivasa Rao contested for the Anakapalle Assembly constituency under the newly formed Praja Rajyam Party (PPP) and had won. Though the court issued several notices to him to appear before it, the HRD Minister had ignored them. On Wednesday, Judge JVS Satyanarayana Murthy issued the NBW and posted the case to September 11.
