To make tax payments easier and faster, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Sunday launched a large tax payment program using mobile financial services (MFS). As a result, taxpayers will be able to pay taxes in a completely digital manner without having to visit the bank. Through this new system, they will be able to pay various taxes, including tax at source and VAT, from the same platform. NBR officials said that through this new service, tax at source can be paid through the e-TDS system and VAT through the A-Challan system. This digital initiative will make transactions more transparent for taxpayers, reduce time and cost, and increase incentives to pay large amounts of tax.
