The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has honoured 10 firms for depositing large amounts of value-added tax (VAT) from sales at this year’s Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2019 Mehedi Hasan/Dhaka TribuneThe companies were awarded crests and certificatesThe National Board of Revenue (NBR), on Tuesday, honoured 10 firms for depositing large amounts of value added tax (VAT) from this year’s Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) sales. NBR Chairman Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan handed over the awards to the representatives of the companies at a ceremony at NBR headquarters. Out of 569 companies that participated in DITF 2019: Hatil Complex Limited, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd, Esquire Electronics Ltd, Rangs Electronics, Butterfly Marketing Ltd, RFL Electronics Ltd, Fair Electronics Ltd, Dural Bal Plastics Ltd, Havana Furniture Ltd, and Rangpur Metal Industries Ltd received crests and certificates. Among others, FBCCI Vice President Sheikh Fazle Fahim and EBP Vice-chairman Bijoy Bhattacharya were present at the program.
