THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is looking at “three to four persons of interest” in the murder of a former justice, Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin said on Wednesday. Lavin said that investigators have “established” that the person of interest was the last person with Pizarro before he went missing on October 23. The person of interest was picked up by Pizarrro somewhere in Clark, Pampanga around midday on the same date, Lavin said. But when the car reached an area somewhere in Tarlac, the person of interest claimed to have alighted in the said area, which the investigators found “dubious,” Lavin said. The body was identified as Pizarro after the femur collected matched the DNA profiles of his siblings, with “99.99 percent” probability.
