NBI Deputy Director for Regional Operation Service Antonio Pagatpat said the NBI Director Dante Gierran is already coordinating with Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra for the possibility of securing hold departure orders (HDO) against Kapa. Pagatpat disclosed that Gierran was already provided last Monday with the list of Kapa officers and incorporators who could be charged in connection with the alleged investment scam. Last Monday, the NBI served search warrants and raided the offices of Kapa in Quezon City, Taytay, Tabon City, Cagayan de Oro City, and Gen. Santos City. The NBI teams also seized P2.2 million in cash in Taytay and around P300,000 in Cagayan de Oro City.
