Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogA suspected illegal recruiter was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after attempting to send three Filipinas as domestic helpers to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. NBI deputy spokesperson Auralyn Pascual identified the arrested suspect as Arlyn Mondejan Gripo. She was arrested by operatives of the NBI’s International Airport Investigation Unit (NBI-IAIU) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) last Nov. 16. She has been charged before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office for human trafficking and large scale illegal recruitment.
