NBE, MSMEDA partner to expand financing for SMEs, entrepreneurship


The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has signed a cooperation protocol with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), aimed at strengthening joint efforts to support and develop the SME sector and entrepreneurship across all governorates. The signing ceremony was attended by Mohamed El-Etreby, CEO of NBE; Soha El-Turky, Deputy CEO of the bank; Bassel Rahmy, CEO of MSMEDA; along with a number of senior officials from both institutions. Rahmy said the cooperation reflects growing alignment among national institutions in advancing the SME sector. Meanwhile, Nader Saad, Head of SME sector at NBE, described the partnership as a key step towards building an integrated ecosystem for supporting business owners. In addition, the two sides are exploring the installation of NBE ATMs at selected MSMEDA branches to improve accessibility for clients.
