It took five years, but television journalist Cynthia McFadden is finally listening to her real-estate agent: She is listing her Manhattan townhouse for $5.995 million, with plans to move into an apartment building with a doorman. “You don’t know how much you miss a doorman until you don’t have one!” laughed Ms. McFadden, 62, an NBC News correspondent. Her real-estate agent, Corcoran’s Sharon Baum, had told Ms. McFadden that she is too busy, and travels too often, to live in a single-family residence.
