NBA free agency: The ripple effect of the Avery Bradley-Marcus Morris trade

That meant moving on from Bradley, Jae Crowder or Marcus Smart in a trade. I would’ve moved Smart — Crowder was Boston’s only option to play at power forward, and Bradley is a terrific perimeter defender and three-point shooter. Johnson could be Detroit’s starting small forward next season — depending on whether the Pistons start Tobias Harris at small or power forward — and will have every opportunity to live up to his No. — Meanwhile, it’s unclear what Utah will do at small forward now that Hayward is gone, and a possible sign-and-trade involving Crowder is off the table.
