NBA’s youngest player is from Mississauga — and Spurs guard Joshua Primo is impressing his coach Gregg Popovich


It’s cute, it’s traditional and it makes for a nice quick video presentation on the scoreboard while the songs play on. It certainly did with the youngest player currently in the league, a teenager whose first appearance on an NBA court came as a national anthem prop. He’s worked with the Canadian national team over a handful of camps and training sessions, and sees it as a major career goal. “One of my biggest goals, is being able to play on the Canadian national team and then play in the Olympics,” he said. “He’s a good dude, he really wants to play for Canada, he made that really well known which is great,” national team coach Nick Nurse said.
