NASA affiliate parties are still negotiating to field one candidate for every elective seat in Nairobi on August 8. Governor Evans Kidero and Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke – joint NASA governor candidates – yesterday said work is still in progress to identify strong candidates . The opposition alliance is made up of ODM, Wiper, ANC, Ford Kenya and Chama Cha Mashinani. Mueke said the matter is before the NASA technical committee, which will give directions this week. There were reports that talks among the affiliate parties on joint candidates in Nairobi had collapsed.
