NASA coalition has distanced itself from a bid by some MP's to block a pay cut gazetted by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission. The SRC gazetted a new salary structure for MPs, slashing their Sh710,000 pay to Sh 621,250 per month. It put sitting allowances at a maximum of Sh80,000 for MPs and Sh128,000 committee chairs, and removed mileage reimbursement.
