NANNM holds first inaugural induction in Sokoto Tribune Online


THE National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwifery, Sokoto State chapter held a one-day inaugural induction course on Sunday, where they called on Nurses to be more professional in discharging their duties. The chairman of the Association in Sokoto State, Comrade Abubakar Shehu, while delivering his opening remarks called on the Nurses in the country to continue to promote unity among themselves and other health workers. Abubakar further advised the health workers to continue to be caring to their patients, saying care is part and parcel of the nursing profession. Kware lamented on the rate at which health workers abandoned state jobs for the federal appointment after obtaining training from the state. He assured Nurses in the state that the State Government would soon review their salaries and allowances have done with that of medical Doctors in the state.
