Muqam is accused of possessing expensive property in the major urban centers of the countryPESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday again summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam in a case related to possessing assets beyond known sources of income. A spokesperson for NAB said the PML-N leader did not appear due to his election engagements and he shall appear after polls. The PML-N leader is accused of possessing expensive property in the major urban centres of the country, for having several bank accounts and precious agricultural land. He has been asked to appear before NAB and explain the sources of his wealth, an official had told The Express Tribune. NAB had also initiated a complaint verification process against another PML-N leader and deposed prime minister Nawaz’s son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar.
