The above-mentioned accused persons were allegedly involved in devouring government funds and making illegal appointments in Sindh Small Industry Corporation. The meeting approved inquiry against member of provincial assembly (MPA) Tehmash Khan, for having assets beyond known sources of income. The board also authorised inquiry against Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Baloch and others for having assets beyond known sources of income. At the end of the meeting, the NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that eradication of corruption was the topmost priority of the bureau. Officers working in the anti-graft body should conduct inquiries and investigations on merit and without showing any discrimination to anyone, he concluded.
