NAB arrests LDA deputy director
Accountability court grants remand of suspect till Dec 23LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has arrested a deputy director of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) over charges of embezzlement on Friday. NAB Lahore had received complaints against him for embezzling funds in the housing sector and fabricating plot files for Mustafa Town. ATC orders arrest of absconding accusedIn June 2017, NAB team started investigations into the complaints. Initial investigations contained 16 plot files, whereas eight other plot documents had been detected as bogus, thus far. For further investigations, NAB Lahore has acquired the physical remand of accused Ahmed Khan from an accountability court till December 23, 2017.
