The accuse­d person­s were wanted on charge­s of China-cuttin­g of 23 amenit­y plots locate­d in Gulist­an-e-JoharKARACHI: National Accountability Bureau arrested 14 accused persons after the Sindh High Court cancelled their interim bails. All the arrested accused persons were officials of Karachi Development Authority working in different capacities. KDA jumps into action following court orderThere are total 23 accused persons sent up for trial out of which two accused persons are already in judicial custody. The arrested accused will be produced before accountability court for judicial remand. The Supreme Court ordered KDA and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) authorities last month to clear as many 35,000 amenity spaces from encroachments within two months.
