Share:Islamabad - The National Assembly (NA) standing committee on Climate Change on Wednesday suggested mandatory buying of solar panel for charging electric vehicles. A meeting of the Standing Committee on Climate Change was held under the Chairmanship of Member National Assembly (MNA) Syed Mustafa Mehmud. In the meeting, Secretary Ministry of the Climate Change briefed the Committee regarding its recommendation about the issue of disposal of electric vehicles’ expired batteries. The Committee directed the Ministry to share, in the next meeting, the e-disposal models adopted by the other countries. The ministry informed that MHNP extends from ICT upto territorial jurisdiction of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkwa, with major portion falling in Punjab.
