He expressed these views while talking to Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC) Zhang Ping at the Parliament House. Pak-China Friendship Group Convener Rana Muhammad Afzal and Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Chairman Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyr were also present on the occasion. Speaker Ayaz Sadiq reiterated that the historic Pak-China relations had entered a new phase of unprecedented cooperation. Zhang Ping reiterated that a vibrant Pak-China cooperation was central to tackling challenges in the region and beyond. He appreciated the initiative taken by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq of organising such an amazing event that reflected on promoting regional peace and interdependence among the neighbouring countries.
