Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani said Saturday said that National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq only expressed what he believed to be right when he said that the current government will fail to complete its tenure. During an interview with a private television channel, Sadiq had said that the scenario being created in Pakistan had never been witnessed before. He had also said that national interests should be give preference over personal benefits to ensure that the country remained focused on its long-term goals. During the interview, the NA speaker had dismissed all talks of a martial law being imposed in the country, saying that the current situation being witnessed in Pakistan was worst than the Musharraf regime. The chances of martial law being imposed in the country are non-existent, he added.
