N Srinivasan, former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, on Friday rejected Dilip Vengsarkar’s claims that he was responsible for the ex-India captain’s removal as chairman of selectors, calling the charge “completely false, motivated and without any basis”. Vengsarkar continued to be the vice-president of Mumbai Cricket Association until 2010 and again in 2014,” he added.
