It will decide who gets the spots for the Olympic boxing tournament in Tokyo, if the Summer Games move forward. Sanford has returned to his home province while he waits for an international committee to decide who gets to go to the Olympic Games. Sanford said he's always dreamed of representing Canada at the Olympic Games. If he isn't selected for the Tokyo Games, he said he's still young enough that he could still shoot for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
