PUTRAJAYA: A North Korean embassy official showed up at the Immigration Department headquarters here after suspect Ri Jong-chol was sent here for his deportation to be processed. The official, Kim Su Yong, arrive about an hour after Ri was brought here by an armed police escort at around 9.15am on Friday. Kim, who is believed to be helping with Ri's release, emerged from the building just before noon to a media frenzy. Ri was released early Friday after his second remand expired. The North Korean was arrested in connection with the murder of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
