Levin orchard owner Diane Ward has had about 800kg of plums stolen from her growing operation. An eerily empty orchard is all that remains after 800 kilograms of plums were stolen without a trace from a commercial growing operation. The owner of the Levin orchard, Diane Ward, says it would have taken her weeks to harvest the crop. Ward has other plums trees her children eat from, but was only missing the plums of monetary value. He said the plums were very popular and the store had taken plums from the orchard for many years.
