Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow and a vocal ally of former President Donald Trump, has been ordered by an arbitration panel to pay $5 million to a software forensics expert who successfully debunked false claims about the 2020 presidential election. Because Robert Zeidman succeeded in doing so, an arbitration panel ordered that Lindell would have to pay up. The arbitrators ordered Lindell to pay Zeidman within 30 days, but Lindell has vowed to challenge the panel’s ruling. “Friends of mine said, ‘You should go because you might win $5 million,’” Zeidman said. He has joined the bipartisan political organization No Labels, he said, and won’t be supporting Trump for president in 2024.
