Children who have not, children whose parents cannot care properly for them, children who need love, can always find mothering from my mother. This is why the Toronto Star’s Santa Claus Fund has a special place in my heart. I expect you know how the Santa Claus Fund began. Atkinson never forgot the warmth and generosity of this stranger who made that Christmas Day the most joyous of his childhood and he eventually created the Santa Claus Fund. So once again in 2019, I will give to the Santa Claus Fund and I ask, please, that you do too.
