The Electoral Commission clarified that its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, “inadvertently used 13,433,573 as the total valid votes cast.”“The total valid votes cast is 13,119,460. Addressing the issue on Pan African TV, Kwesi Pratt expressed dismay over how such a gaffe could be committed by the election organization body. In fact I have always hated mathematics all my life but my mathematics is better than the EC. I have always ran away from mathematics until I saw the mathematics of the EC and said hey, I’m better”.
