THE deputy governor of Kogi state, Simon Achuba, on Sunday raised the alarm over alleged threat to his life following the withdrawal of security men attached to him. He said the commissioner of police in the state, Hakeem Busari, had last Friday withdrew the security details attached to him thereby putting his life in danger. The embattled deputy governor said the men were later made to make statements at the SARS office. Achuba, therefore, called on the Inspector General of Police to intervene and call Busari to order so that his security details can be restored back. The Commissioner of Police, however, confirmed the story, saying deputy governor had lodged complaints in his office.
