Sadly, one man recently told his wife the devastating news that he won't be able to make the birth of their first child due to work commitments, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, the mum-to-be is not happy. "His excuse was that I have an entire medical team and it's not like this was a natural birth because I will be under anaesthesia." Others, however, completely disagreed, and suggested the man felt emotionally unequipped to deal with the birth, and was perhaps using work as an excuse to get out of it. What do you think, should the dad risk getting fired to come to the birth or is he making excuses?
