In Ghana, I was not a Black man. Another face in a sea of Black faces. For some, going back to Africa is fueled by a quest for freedom from continued racial violence and injustice. The call to return — to Ghana to capture journalistically this unfolding story, if not movement, as narrative, photos and multimedia. The ride to that distant land indigenous to the first man — a Black man, an African.
