I think there’s something valuable in that. I liked the softness of the winter light hitting this guy’s face, the way he’s framed all in red by the walls and imitation leather seats. A lot of people don’t understand why I photograph chicken shops. I was starting to think I might need to find somewhere else to photograph. There’s no mad rush to beat the crowds because there’s never really that many people on the slopes.
