In October last year, French native and former head fashion and textiles lecturer at AUT Marilou Dadat moved to Wellington with partner Sam and 2-year-old son Fox to become the head designer at ethical fashion brand Kowtow. Then we head to the weekend market on the waterfront to get fruit and veggies for the week. At one point during Paris Fashion Week I was beading red satin shoes before the show. As a student, I worked backstage for Paris Fashion Week each season, dressing the models. Friday night drinks with the Kowtow team is always a good introduction to the weekend.
