Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has issued an update on his health status after contracting Covid-19 virus two days ago. Museveni who has since gone into self-isolation said on Friday his doctor informed him that the respiratory infection is mild. The doctor, Diana Atwiine, said the infection should be managed conservatively by vitamins especially vitamin C and D and some antihistamines. Museveni said he had to send Vice President Jessica Alupo in Lusaka for the Comesa Summit. Museveni then slept at 10pm and woke up at 3am with a slight vague headache.
