The Young Cranes have qualified for the Under 17 AFCON in Tanzania this year and the Ghanaian gaffer has been contracted to lead the team. Mwebaze however believes a Ugandan is capable of handling the team and he sees no reason why they should bring someone outside to do the job. “I welcome Mr. Kwesi Samuel as coach of our youth team.” Mwebaze’s post on Facebook reads. Fabian was the coach when Ghana placed second in the Under 17 AFCON in Gabon in 2017 and also the quarter finals of the World Cup in India.
