Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has reassured Kenyans that the president has heard their concerns and is ready to act on them. Mwaura said there was a need for the protesters to now call off the protests and allow the process to take place. “The president and the whole government have heard your concerns loud and clear, we are ready to act on it,” he said. He said parents should start by engaging their children at home to avoid engaging in violence. Mwaura further stressed the importance of media houses to be objective in reporting the ongoing protests in the country.
