KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 3): The FBM KLCI notched up limited gains at mid-morning today, in line with the more tentative regional markets. The top gainers included Nestle (M) Bhd, Chin Teck Plantations Bhd, PPB Group Bhd, Globetronics Technology Bhd, MKH Bhd, Teck Guan Perdana Bhd, Selangor Properties Bhd, Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd and Salutica Bhd. The actives included Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd, IFCA MSC Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd, Matang Bhd, Sumatec Resources Bhd, TH Heavy Engineering Bhd and RGB International Bhd. The decliners included British American Tobacco (M) Bhd, Enra Group Bhd, Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd, Allianz Malaysia Bhd, Top Glove Corp Bhd, Ireka Corp Bhd and UMW Holdings Bhd. Hong Leong IB Research said that ahead of the February reporting season, shares on Bursa Malaysia will likely be trapped in range bound consolidation after surging 1.8% in January.
