KIULU:A group of Muslim trainees and officials from a skills training institute showed that there was no barrier in doing charitable work. The group from Kinarut Youth Skills Training Institute took part in a gotong-royong to repair St Paul’s Catholic chapel at Kampung Sinalapak here recently. They were joined by Kiulu assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, village head Dunsim Gimbatu and cathecist Rosenani Kiting. The gotong-royong was jointly organised by the institute and the Village Development and Security Committee. Rosenani said the group’s help was timely and would serve the Catholic community well as the chapel was a place of worship used regularly for prayers and other events.
