The Eid prayers at the National Eidgah were not disrupted due to bad weather as it had a proper shade. The Eid prayers were held on schedule at 8.30am. Muslims in many other countries celebrated the religious holiday on Tuesday, marking the end of Islam’s holy month of Ramadan. "We came here to celebrate Eid because this day is for happiness and all the people want to see happiness. Elsewhere, thousands of Muslims living in Moscow gathered in and outside the city's grand mosque to pray.
